The Business Assistance Room Workshop is a practical, facilitator-led space offering tailored support for women navigating business and creative entrepreneurship. Through focused discussions and guided exercises, participants receive hands-on guidance on pricing, business structure, financial basics, branding, and next steps. Facilitators provide real-world insights while supporting participants at different stages—from idea development to business growth—within a collaborative and encouraging environment.
The Business Assistance Room will run during the WMS 2026 Conference: Roots and Wings.

The Women Makers Marketplace is a curated digital marketplace spotlighting exceptional women-owned product brands. The inaugural edition runs from March 8–30, 2026 in celebration of Women’s Month.
The Marketplace is open to women-owned product-based businesses in categories such as:
- Fashion
- Beauty
- Food
- Home
- Art
- Lifestyle
Applicants must have existing products ready for sale and the capacity to fulfill customer orders independently.
Makers are selected based on:
- Product quality
- Brand presentation
- Consistency and professionalism
- Alignment with the marketplace standards
Selection is limited and reviewed on a first-come basis. Only eligible makers will be contacted.
Yes. A ₦30,000 registration fee applies to selected makers only.
This fee covers:
- Dedicated marketplace listing
- Promotional inclusion
- Technical onboarding
- Campaign visibility during the March 8–30 run.
Applications are free.
Payment is only required after selection.
All customer payments go directly to the maker. The marketplace does not hold or process your funds.
Each maker is responsible for:
- Order fulfillment
- Packaging
- Delivery logistics
- Customer communication
Selected Makers receive:
- A dedicated storefront (bio, products, pricing)
- Promotional visibility across digital platforms
- Inclusion in curated marketplace campaigns
- Structured onboarding support before launch
Applications close on February 27, 2026 to allow time for onboarding ahead of the March 8 launch.
The marketplace goes live on the 8th of March and runs until the 30th of March, 2026.
